How to find us:

Once you arrive at the TU Dortmund South Campus, take Driveway 44 (orange sign), and look for Building GB II (the middle one, of the triplet). We are on the third floor, in Rooms 421-423.

Arriving by public transport

From the central train station in Dortmund, the S-Bahn line S1 leads to the university's northern campus. From there, the suspended monorail (H-Bahn ) connects to the South Campus every ten minutes.

From the city centre of Dortmund, you can take the underground line U42 to "Barop Parkhaus" and from there take the bus line 440 direction "Oespel". Get off at "Am Gardenkamp", from where a five-minute walk leads you to the South Campus  (see map), or get of at Eichlinghofen and use the H-Bahn.


Arriving by car

The university is located between the A45 motorway and the B1 federal road. Take one of the two exits respectively:

A45 - Dortmund Eichlinghofen

B1 - Dortmund Dorstfeld

From there follow, the signs "Universität - Campus Süd". At the campus, the entrances are marked with orange signs. It is best to park your car in the parking lot at "Einfahrt 44".


Arriving by plane

The Dortmund airport (DTM) is connected to many important destinations in Germany and Europe. For example, there are regular flights to London, Munich, Vienna, Thessaloniki, Budapest, Dresden, Katowice, Krakow, Sofia, Belgrade, Bucharest, Porto. From the airport you can take the bus 440 direction Oespel directly to the south campus. (Stop: Eichlinghofen H-Bahn) The journey takes about 50 minutes.

Dusseldorf International Airport (DUS), which is connected directly to the S-Bahn University train station, offers a wider range of international air connections. Alternatively, one can travel with the regional train connections with a stopover at the Dortmund central station.
