The chair aims for compatibility in qualitative and quantitative evaluation of environmentally sound building, on the landed property level as well as the urban develeopment level. This is accomplished through the implementation of basic principles of environmentally sound and energy efficient designs to support the students' creativity considering the ecological aspect of desings; also via calculated evaluation of the indoor climate, the energy efficiency of the interior space and the user convenience in the exterior with the help of adequate simulation programs.
